Slowly, slowly...

Slowly (oh so very slowly) my house is coming into order.  This week I am stopping work on de-cluttering the kitchen and moving onto my clothes.  Not because I'm giving up with the kitchen, I intend to go back in a week or so and get back to it (and I still do a bit of de-cluttering every time I go in there anyway) but just because the kitchen had become the only room I was ever working on in the house...

Anyway, I haven't really got rid of any clothes in the last 11-12 years so this should be interesting.  I must have had some nice clothes because everyone keeps telling me what size they wear and saying they'll take my old stuff.  I don't remember ever thinking I had nice clothes but maybe that was just my depressive nature?  I offloaded a few items onto my 18 year old sister already and she seemed thrilled to bits...  I know I've got everything from jeans, to suits, to ball gowns hanging around.  I could save it all and hope that one day I'll be small enough to fit into some of them again but that's just rather disheartening in my eyes.  Opening the wardrobe everyday and seeing a mass of clothes that are too small for you and only a handful that actually fit.  At least this way I'll know exactly what I've got and what I need.

Oh, I'm also really pleased as I got to cross off a load of things from my 101 Things In 1001 Days list!  Woohoo for progress!

The astro-turf is nearly all laid in the garden too so the younger children have been enjoying playing in the sunshine and my next door neighbour sold me a really good, expensive cross trainer for next to nothing...  I'm hoping to collect it very soon from his garage so I can start my 30 minutes a day on it.

Tonight I am deviating from my menu plan and making home-made pizza again.  I just didn't really fancy pasta and vegetable bake tonight and neither did anyone else.  I'm going to make a lemon drizzle cake for dessert too!
