Nearly a year!

It's been nearly a year since I was last here.  I'm sorry.

A lot has been happening though and due to circumstances I fell behind on the housewife duties.  Why?  Well, I bought a hair and beauty salon!  Which of course, seemed such an easy option at the time - little did I realise I would end up working there for 50-60 hours every week...  It got to the stage where I was living and breathing the salon and there was no time for family, home or life.

I've taken a step back now, as everyone was miserable...  I've got someone else to run the salon so I don't have too, I employ staff to do the actual work and I just do the behind the scenes stuff now.  Which means that I should be able to concentrate more on my family and my house.

To be honest, it's been a bit of a roller-coaster ride!

We've also added to our family since I last posted - and are pleased to announce the arrival of Henny and Penny, our two little chickens!  They're good girls, they lay us two fresh eggs a day and I'm just looking up my old recipes to see what I should bake or cook with our first weeks worth of eggs!

Anyway, I'll be around a lot more now...  My house is complete chaos so it's going to take a lot to get it into shape.
