How to make serious, life changing decisions.

Here's the conversation we had yesterday on FB (even though we were sat two three feet from each other at the time!), oh and I changed names so as not to identify anyone;


DH would just like to make it 100% crystal clear to Sarah that she will not be clearing out his garage, even if she does pry the key from his cold dead fingers. Full stop. End of discussion. Not happening.

Me Won't have to pry any keys out of your fingers (although the cold, dead thing IS quite appealing)... I'll just go in through the door you never close! Or I could do a Hayley and just ram my car through the garage door!!!!

DH It makes no difference - a garage is man-space! Get back to your kitchen, wench! :p ;)

Me I'll get back to my kitchen when you buy me a house with a bigger one! Until then your garage is at risk! :P

DH You said something similar about this house when we bought it! I have little faith that the bigger house you are after would be any different!

Me Yeah, but you took me from a small kitchen to a microscopic one... I want a big one and then you can have your own garage... *crosses fingers behind back* PROMISE!!!!

DH I can have my own garage anyway. Get your paws off! RAAAAAHHH!!!!

DH heheheh! Glad it brightened your day - now you must excuse me, I am ordering gun turrets from Ebay to fortify my garage against siege from Sarah and her ever expanding pygmy army!

Me Its too late Martin - I've got a guy who knows a guy on the inside. You can't escape me - but you could buy me a new house with a big kitchen!!!! :P

DH Kitchen size is inversely proportional to skirt length! The shorter your skirt the bigger the kitchen I will get you!

Me I will wear a short skirt every day of the year if you buy me a new house!!!! Oh, but then I'd need a new wardrobe to go with the new house as I don't have enough short skirts!

J lol ah the bliss of a domestic life... Personally I would remind Sarah that your den is full of spiders and have your Zombie butler act as doorman. ;-)

Me LOL You forget J, I have an army of small dwarves (is there any other kind?!) who will do my evil bidding for me and aren't scared of spiders!

DH Good suggestion J, but Sarah's approach is much better! The only thing is that wardrobe space is also proportional to heel height, so in order to get the kitchen AND the huge wardrobes, it would also require an array of stiletto heels! Watch out Sarah, at this rate I will hold you to this deal!!

Me Hell, I can do heels... I even have a fair number so wouldn't require another 50 pairs JUST yet.... Oh, and I'm expecting 7 bedrooms with this deal... You can't just knock a whole in our current kitchen wall to make it bigger. I want new house!

DH 7 bedrooms.... OK, that will require a low cut top as well, but I will offset that with a facial and manicure. Otherwise, the proposal is sound.... You get your skirt and heels on and we'll go look at houses! (and she thinks I am joking....)

Me LOL Looking at houses ain't good enough - you've actually got to follow through and buy one.

And I reckon I COULD sell it to you if you got desperate enough. Now my soul would be a whole 'nother topic altogether!!!

We did view the house today, it's beautiful.  Really beautiful.  I so hope we can go ahead and get it!
